The program of the stay includes:
3 hours of classes a day conducted according to the FITS method (Functional Individual Therapy of Scoliosis), including postural re-education, learning to correct and then maintain it in functional positions, elements of stabilisation training and proprioception exercises. Depending on the result of the clinical examination, the accompanying dysfunctions and the needs of the patient, an individual therapeutic plan is selected. In therapy, we also use elements of internationally recognised scoliosis rehabilitation methods: BSPTS Schroth, ISST Schroth, SEAS, DoboMed.
Patients are educated to practice self-therapy and corrective patterns at home. At the end of the course you will receive detailed recommendations for further treatment.
Activities take place in group and individual form. During the course of the course, participants are looked after by qualified and competent physiotherapists from our centre.
Please bring sportswear (short shorts, sports bras for girls which do not cover a large area of the back so that the spine is visible), full medical documentation with all x-rays taken so far, and an orthopaedic corset if the child wears one.
